You can also use BCV TWINT to transfer money to friends and family. Once they have downloaded the app, all you’ll need is their mobile phone number to send and receive money directly with your smartphone.

The BCV TWINT app is free of charge. It meets Switzerland’s stringent banking security standards, and your transactions are always code- or fingerprint-protected. You can use the app throughout Switzerland to make payments in Swiss francs of up to CHF 1,500 per day/month for P2P payments and up to CHF 5,000 per day/month for in-store and online purchases.
If your smartphone is lost or stolen, you can block your account; you won’t lose your money because it isn’t stored directly on your phone.
